Water Balance of the Alps
The Austrian presidency of the Alpine Convention (2005-2006) organized in cooperation with the University of Innsbruck and the Scientific Committee Alpine Research (ISCAR), the Conference "The Water Balance of the Alps" of 28-29 September 2006 in Innsbruck.
The central challenge of this conference is the question to what extent the EU - Water Framework Directive is sufficient for the water resources of the Alps and to protect any possible elements of a protocol "Water" of the Alpine Convention.Registration and further information: www.uibk.ac.at/alpinerraum/meetings/water_2006
