EU Directive on flood

Under the Austrian Presidency, the work on a directive of the European Parliament and the Council on the assessment and management of floods continues apace.

This Directive aims to provide a framework for the reduction of risk to human health, the environment and economic activities in the EU.
 
Now is a revised draft of the Directive. This gives the Council on 27 June 2006 reached agreements again. The draft can be used with the following link to be achieved.
